A Night in Paris

Yup, that's just what it was... A night in Paris--

well, not literally... I wish. It was more like a mother's night out!

Raise your hand mom's if you need a night like this! Me Me Me!!! Yes, I see you mom! You are now challenged to a Night in Paris! or at least a night away from the littles for a bit.

Because this mommy right here enjoyed a much needed night out with her lady friends. I get it. It's hard to admit sometimes as mother's that we need time to ourselves, alone and/or with people who don't tend to follow you into the restroom and watch you pee (or poop), or who are constantly needing you to feed them and tend to their every need every second of the day... It's time to step back mom's, take a deep breathe and say "I.. need.. just.. two.. hours.." And fess up and say "Honey, it's time, I need a night away."

Let me tell you, it works!

A good ole night of painting fun with lots of vino. Yessss.... very relaxing. It was a first for most of us as most of us are mommy's. Yea I know it's not an excuse, but when you're caring for a new born or even two or more children, you rarely have time for yourself, let alone paint a picture that doesn't require stick figures. I mean who would have thought painting could bring on so much fun? It really was an amazing night. 

And... Pinot's Palette was a perfect place to host our ladies night. Check them out! Or even google paint night... They teach you step by step how to paint timeless masterpieces specifically catered to that night and even have private parties...THEN-- Víola... You have suddenly turned into !!Picasso!! and painted a beautiful and unique masterpiece that you can hang on your ever so empty wall! ----Well, it's up to you because I sucked but, all in all it was fun, and we painted something that holds memories that will never be forgotten. Even if it was just an excuse to get out.
