Six Flags Fiesta Texas with these kidsss!

Well we made it to Fiesta Texas. My daughter won a family of four tickets for a reading competition she was involved in and we are finally putting the tickets to use.  What better way than to spend it on our July fourth holiday.
It really is children friendly as well as perfect for the tweens, teens and their parents if you like amusement parks. As I have gotten older, I still get excited about riding rides and would jump in line and wait for that adrenaline rush you can only get from riding a roller coaster. The amusement park features daily shows, concerts, arcade games, food, contests and shopping.
There is also a water park attached to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.  If looks like the only way to enter the water park is through the main park.  Water park admission is included with your Six Flags ticket purchase. The water park has a wave pool shaped like Texas, tubes and slides, and entry is free with admission to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

Things to Know Before You Go:
  • Don’t forget your swimsuits if you would like to go to the waterpark part too.  The waterpark is separate so you could avoid it if you wish.
  • Be prepared to walk.  Most of the activities for the younger children are located in the back of the park.  The water park area for the younger kids is also in the back of the water park.
  • You no longer can take pictures or video record on a ride as they say you will get fined.
  • If you have a child 42" and over, expect them to be able to ride most rides!
