Grandma turns 101!!! Beat that!

Today this beautiful and strong woman (my grandma) turns 101! Let's all celebrate "Ofelia Gallardo" day, as the mayor proclaimed it in her honor when she turned 100 last year! God has truly blessed my grandma with an amazing long life and we (grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son, daughters, friends...) get to be a part of her journey. God definitely has a plan for us all and this apparently was hers. Mya unt who has cared for her these past 10 plus years, has done an outstanding job (far right bottom of the 2nd photo) Let's applaud her as well. It isn't an easy journey caring for an elderly, especially your mother. There are now times in which my grandma isn't herself and falls into her episodes of dementia however, we are there for both of them every step of the way are extremely proud. 101 is an amazing number to reach nowadays in today's world. Daddy always knew she was a strong woman, and said "she may out-live us all!"
