Early Christmas Fun with the FAM BAM!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

If you haven't taken the kiddos to see lights and you live on the southeast side of Houston, I highly suggest you visit Dickinson Festival of Lights. They have free parking and shuttles to take you back and forth. What is Dickinson Festival of Lights? A non-profit volunteer organization who provides a beautiful display of Christmas lights for visitors of all ages. Buses carry load after load of people to what seems like an entire neighborhood of lights crammed onto a few acres. It is impressive, to say the least. Once we (family and our kiddos) arrived, we began our walking tour. Not to mention that night it was freezing!!!! Anyway, there were luminous tunnels carving out a path through the wondrous display of Christmas lights. There was a Santa Claus taking pictures with all the children, and the line to sit in his lap wrapped around a few light tunnels and a food stand. We opted out of this particular experience because they already met with Santa Claus earlier in the month. However, we had a great time all around enjoying each others company and having a good 'ole time. At first we all agreed to go for the kiddos, BUT it was so magical, we felt like kids ourselves.! We couldn't believe all the colorful lights around us!
