Surprise Surprise!

A surprise birthday party for a man is fun for both the friends and the main man. Planning a surprise birthday party for him takes some secrecy and just a little bit of trickery to pull off the perfect surprise. You can hold the surprise party at the house (we did this last year), at a friend’s home, a restaurant, or even plan an entire surprise getaway day (already did). While any type of party is fun, there are a few elements that are essential to planning a birthday surprise.
Planning the Party
It is great to have an accomplice or friends ideas when planning a surprise birthday party. Although it is not impossible to keep the party a secret and plan all of the elements by yourself, having a helper who does not live in the same house as the guest of honor makes it that much easier.
Keeping the Surprise
The most important element in this type of party is the surprise itself. It is notoriously difficult to get all of the party guests to keep the secret, but it can be done. Do something that he like's. That is always a winnre in the end.
On the Big Day
One person should coordinate the party guests, while the other “baby-sits” the guest of honor. It is a great idea to plan the surprise birthday around something that is routine in order to not arouse suspicion.
Wherever you choose to hold the surprise birthday party, the main ingredients for success are secrecy, coordination, and fun. With a little advanced planning and just a few white lies, the guest of honor can easily be kept in the dark. Plan the type of party they will love, gather their friends, and be ready to give them the surprise of their lives.

It was Wednesday morning and I knew I only had two days left to try to plan something out for his birthday. I wanted it to be original yet fun at the same time. I had in mind to either choose, a comedy club or race-car driving. He has been mentioning this for a long time and I finally wanted to do this for him. I gathered ideas from his friends and they thought they were both great ideas. See, when surprising someone, you have to make sure you plan what he wants so he will be surprised. It isn’t as easy as it looks. After all, he thought it was just him and I going on a date. Even his mom planned on watching the kids while we were on “our date.” By Friday evening I still had no idea what we were going to do but what I knew what his most important friends were showing up. The best part was- my friends dropped their kids off at my house so they could go out with us. It was perfect. We met at Twin Peaks. He had no idea. I even pretended that I was lost to kill time for everyone to get there. When the waitress sat “two” he saw me walking towards the surprise table of friends. He was so surprised he yelled (in a good way)! The night already started off perfectly and he was so happy. After dinner, we went to a foam party and enjoyed the rest of the evening dancing and having a great time with great friends. He is still talking about it today. I'm glad it turned out great. Because he is a guy and most woman don't know where to take or what to do for their man for his birthday. I say simple is best, especially with his closest friends. That's all that matters to them. And of course, you too! Give him that, always!
