2nd grade Holiday Project

It wasn't as bad as we thought. She was at first so hesitant to do it because of the length and extensive math problems and the journal writing she had to write every day. 
She enjoyed so much she made me make a copy so we could do this again on our next vacation! LOL. Oh boy!
Tell me why the entire Christmas vacation when we found the time to do this, my son, hid HIS homework that HE had to turn in. Yup, smart ass. Found his STACK of unfinished homework that needed to be completed today during his Christmas vacation. He hid it and placed it back in his back pack this morning. He thought he was pretty smart but mommy has another thing coming for him. He has a lot of make up work to do while his sister plays with her dolls. Sucks but it has to get done and I know he has the potential and the intelligence because he's the smartest in class, but he just doesn't want to apply it. We'll figure something out. I just can't wait to hear how their first day back to school was after two weeks and to see the excitement on her face after telling me how much her teacher and friends LOVED her project! Yup, she will always have the best! Or will try too at least... And so will my son! :-)
