 Besides swimming, bowling and go cart racing, I want to be able to relax and enjoy a good 'ole movie with some popcorn and an ice cold drink. Here are a list of places that are offering summer deals for you and your family!
Check them out, I know I am!

AMC Theatres

AMC Theatres around town offer “member” discounts. You can earn money back on future tickets and free upgrades on drinks and snacks. They also have cool giveaways and prizes for members. Click here to check out the Houston area locations.

Cinemark

As part of their Summer Movie Clubhouse, Cinemark is offering 10 movie tickets for $5 when you buy tickets in advance, or $1 movie tickets when you buy tickets at the door. Santikos
Free Movies! Yep! Every Tuesday & Wednesday at 10am, Santikos is offering free kid movies plus $3 snack packs too. First come, first serve. Check for locations here.
{Also, if you have babies who will probably sleep - or cry – during the movies, Santikos has a “mommy” movie time every Wednesday at 11am! Prices are regular, but they will show a romantic comedy or action movie also with dimmed lights and lower volume.}

Alamo Drafthouse

At the “Kids Camp Series” all screenings are free all week long! You have to get tickets at the box office and seating is first come, first serve. They have fun, vintage movies as well as newer releases. The scheduled times and locations are here.

Carmike Cinemas

Every Thursday at 10am, select kid movie tickets are $4 -which includes a drink and popcorn!

Another way to save money on movies - buy tickets online at sites like Fandango or Movietickets.com. These sites sometimes offer lower prices, and if you are good at Googling, you can often find coupon codes to apply to your order during checkout.
And don’t forget about the dollar movies!  You won’t get the fancy chairs. The movies might be a bit dated. But there are still dollar cinemas around town, and ticket prices are always cheap with most being just $1 – $2 per ticket!
